Advertising at SkateLog.com
|
The advertising policy of the Web site SkateLog.com.
SkateLog Advertising Policy
We do not sell ads at SkateLog.com, but we
do display Google ads at the top of every page
and we include affiliate links from time to time
especially in our book store and poster shop.
Most of those links go to Amazon.com and AllPosters.com.
It became necessary to include Google ads on our site
as a way of off setting the costs associated with maintaining the
Web site and producing new content.
Our Web site hosting fees are increasing
because our visitors and page views are growing, and because
we are publishing more and more photos and video clips.
Is SkateLog Going Commercial?
You will not see
any pop-up ads or animated ads at SkateLog.com
but you will see text-only Google ads and
occasionally (but not often) a few affiliate links.
We will try to present these ads in a way that makes the
advertisements a plus instead of a minus, for example by displaying
skate tour ads on our countries page, skate bag ads on our
accessories page, and skating instructor ads on our
lessons page, etc.
Advertising Prices
At the present we are not selling ads directly to individuals
but if we ever do decide to do this we will make
an announcement in our newsletter.
Advertising Inquiries
If you would like to learn more about advertising on
SkateLog.com or make us an advertising offer
we cannot refuse, you can send email to
info@skatelog.com.
All inquiries will
be kept strictly confidential.
How You Can Support SkateLog.com
You can support SkateLog.com by purchasing

at the top of my Web pages) but there
are other ways you can show your support as well.
Three of the BEST things you can do are
to (1) visit SkateLog.com every day to see what's nwe, (2) tell
all of your friends about our Web site, and
(3) link to
SkateLog.com
and encourage other sites to link as well.
